Prayer Ministry

How to Share a Prayer Request

Within small group meetings (such as Sunday School class, Bible Study), fellowship activities or casual conversation, share your prayer needs with each other. Don’t be afraid to ask a friend to pray for a specific need or to be in prayer for them. Be clear about what should be kept confidential.

On Sunday mornings, you can make a public request known by writing it on the back of a Guest Card, found in the pews, and placing it in the offering plate. You may also notify the church office (330-695-2511). It will be added to our church-wide prayer list and shared with our Weekly Prayer Partners.

For emergency needs that are timely in nature, call the church 330-695-2511. We will notify our Emergency Email Prayer Partners and ask them to pray immediately.

How to Pray for Others

  • Regularly pray for people you know or know of who are in need. Be especially consistent about praying for those who have asked you to pray for them or who you have offered to pray for.
  • Weekly Prayer Partners – The church prayer list will be shared weekly through a printed list available during worship and via a weekly e-mail update. If you would like to be a Weekly Prayer Partner, please note this in the Friendship Register and provide your e-mail address. You may also contact the church office to sign-up. If you don’t have e-mail, please get a printed list at worship each week.
  • Emergency e-mail Prayer Partners – If you would like to be notified of and pray for immediate, urgent requests, become an Emergency Email Prayer Partner. Sign-up via the Friendship Register or through the church office.
